Overview
The Overview is the landing page of your dashboard. It summarises your business health using everything you've recorded across E-BillR.
What it shows
- Headline figures — income received, expenses, and outstanding amounts.
- GST position — tax collected on sales versus input tax you can claim.
- Balances by mode — your cumulative cash position for each payment mode (cash, bank, UPI, cheque, card, other), calculated as receipts received minus payments made through that mode.
- Charts — bar charts that trend your finances over time.
How it's built
The numbers here are computed from your invoices, receipts, expenses, bills, and payments. As you record more activity, the Overview stays current automatically — there's nothing to refresh by hand.
Empty at first
A brand-new account shows zeros. Create an invoice and record a receipt, and the figures populate immediately.
